Making a newspaper is not just work, it’s fun. The Newsroom gives beginners – young and old – an exciting introduction to journalism and newspapers.

The Newsroom was created for journalists of all ages.
If you want to add graphics to your texts, you can choose from a good variety of a Clip Art collection on many of disk sides. Any piece of clip art can be flipped from left to rightor right to left.





In addition The Photo Lab allows you to create your own photos for inclusion in your newspaper.
To send or receive news with modems over another computers, you can also do this with selecting the Wire Service from The Newsroom Menu. For this the two computers sending and receiving data must be set up at the same baud rate.


As Editor of The Newsroom you can direct all the activities necessary to create a newspaper. This includes banner creation, photo production, copywriting, layout, wire service and, of course, the printing of the newspaper.
Before start making newspapers the first thing to do is to decide why you want to publish a newspaper. Do you want to cover news for a certain group, like your neighborhood, school or office?

Helpful hints
Here are some helpful hints for newspaper writing. Try to keep these things in mind while you are composing:
• Tell the story. Be sure you are giving the audience all the important facts.
• Keep to the point. Have you included anything that doesn’t add to the story? One way to check for irrelevant information is to have someone else read your story.
• Avoid big words and long sentences.
• Put your article away for a day or so and then revise it.
