An interesting, GEOS-like operating system has been appeared in 1990 what you have may missed.
All owners of the “new” c 64 will certainly know the user interface GEOS, and also quite a few old c 64 maniacs should not be unfamiliar with such a program type.

Besides the usual notepad or calculator, the software system offers more, such as a powerful drawing program and a powerful word processing system.
The SUPRA operating system is equipped with the WINDOW technology, similar to the large PCs or the AMIGA.
You can control this system with also mouse 1351 (in port 1) and joystick (in port 2), where the left mouse button corresponds to the fire button of the joystick, the right button is used to switch the menu bar (Commodore button).
SUPRA 64 manages several file types like the Basic 2 .0:
- Program Files PRG
- System files SYS
- Data files DAT
- Directories DIR
- Trash bin TRC (bucket in direc.)

The system named Supra 64 has been continued with new name and version as Workbench v2.0 in 1992 with some more improvements.
