Timo’s Castle (2024, Roman Werner)

A new platform game, originally based on Christopher Murray’s 1984 game Henry’s House.

Timo’s Castle is the brainchild of three dedicated individuals who, in October 2023, embarked on a journey to recapture the essence of their cherished childhood memories. With the developer hailing from Switzerland and two creative minds from Germany, their shared vision and unwavering passion have culminated in a captivating game that pays homage to the simplicity and charm of classic platformers.

The game is an enchanting adventure through intricately designed rooms, each brimming with nostalgia-inducing elements and delightful challenges.

There were some legal hurdles in the making of the game, which were eventually resolved by mutual agreement with the creator of the original game. As a result, the new title has been renamed “Timo’s Castle” instead of the originally planned Henry’s Castle, with a new protagonist that embodies the essence of the original character while incorporating fresh elements.
