Raid on Bungeling Bay (1984, Broderbund) – The original and the remaked game versions

Raid on Bungeling Bay is a shoot ’em up video game developed by Will Wright and published by Broderbund for the Commodore 64 in 1984.

This is still a very popular action game – which in addition inspired Wright to develop SimCity in 1989 – where you control a helicopter launched from an aircraft carrier to bomb six factories over islands.

Raid on Bungeling Bay is one of the few games where the colour of the screen border has a meaning; by this, you instantly see how much damage the helicopter has taken.

A very talented and enthusiastic fan called Antz has graced it with two amazing versions of the game recently:

The game with an improved 2D graphics and some more extras.

The game with the amazing 3D graphics.
