The Secret of Monkey Island – Its Coming!

After a simple and not so good – fan made game version for Commodore 64 which was just made with the use of The D42-Adventure System a completely new game development has recently been released, which will be much closer to the original version of the game.

64 rooms of a total of 80 ish rooms now pixeled and done. 469 objects pixeled and done.

Still to implement the character sprites and the code logic for that system. That’s why there is a white square on the screen, its Guybrush. There is still lots of coding, music making and pixelputting to make so it will not be released anytime soon.

Right now part one of the point and click adventure is completely playable with all the background graphics and objects done, all dialogue, inventory system and sword fighting done.

Looking at the information so far, the development of the game is finally in good hands and soon Commodore 64 users will be able to try and play through this adventurous and popular story.
