A brand new Windows 95 / 98 like graphical user interface for the Commodore 64 has been released recently.
You can run your programs and games but also cut/copy/paste/delete/rename files or format/rename disks.

The new GUI is currently available in two file formats: .d64 and .prg, the latter of which works nicely with the Kung Fu Flash cartridge.
GUI64 was developed in ACME 6502 assembler with C64 Studio.
A third file format, .crt, may be created in the future.
Based on the tests so far, GUI64 offers a very cool user experience, both in terms of appearance and program performance.
