Space Game (2024, CommodoreSpence)

Aside from tetris games, another big category of games that fans of the genre can’t get enough of are space games. The space shooter games scene has continued to grow since the release of Space Invaders in 1978, this time developed using a suite of programming tools called Turbo Rascal Syntax Error (TRSE).

You control a star fighter and must destroy all the enemies and objects in your way to achieve ultimate victory!

The simplicity of the game’s essence is almost immediately forgotten by the special gameplay set to an exciting soundtrack, where enemy spaceships move and attack according to a rhythmic repetition. An important feature of the game is that, unlike similar shooting games, you can move the spaceship in vertical directions as well as the usual horizontal.

Each level requires you to destroy a certain amount of enemy spacecraft, which will tend to spawn again over time, and you should also be prepared for the arrival of larger asteroids.
