The official sequel to the classic 1987 game Head Over Heels, returning to players nearly four decades later. Developed by Thalamus Digital Publishing Ltd. under license from Atari Interactive, the project will be one of the most significant retro gaming events of 2025.
The original Head Over Heels was one of the most acclaimed 3D isometric adventure games of the 1980s. The idea for a sequel emerged as early as 1989, when Colin Porch, who created the Atari ST port of the original, began developing a secret continuation. After more than 30 years of dedication and passion, the project is finally ready to reach the public.

Head Over Heels was not only considered a technical feat in the Commodore 64 community, but also won prestigious awards. One of the most important trade magazines of the era, Zzap!64 magazine, gave the game an “all-time classic” rating – the highest recognition a C64 title could receive. This rating meant that the editors and the community considered it one of the greatest achievements in the history of the platform.
