Retro Commodore – Your place with high quality scans for preservation

The Retro Commodore website aims to preserve and make publicly available documents, manuals, software, and publications related to retro computers, especially Commodore and other 8-bit machines.

It is an international community project that aims to preserve digital heritage and offers everyone the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the collection.

The site is regularly updated with new material. Recent entries include:

  • The Complete Commodore 64 – a comprehensive book about the legendary machine.
  • The Commodore 64 Handbook – a manual for users.
  • Sound Effects and Music on the Commodore 64 – an introduction to sounds and music options.
  • Z80-Assembly Language Programming Manual and Z80 CPU Technical Manual – programming and technical manuals.

  • Programmering i COMAL 80 – Danish-language programming book.
  • PowerMenu v2.0 – Amiga software manual.
  • 6502 Applications – development material for the 6502 processor.

The project is supported by the community. Those interested can contribute to the purchase of new materials by making a donation, even via Mobile Pay. It is important to note that donations are used exclusively for the purchase of documents, not for maintaining the website.

The collection is extremely diverse:

  • More than 500 manuals
  • 375 Commodore 64 documents
  • 433 Amiga materials
  • Numerous other publications, development materials, software, and magazines related to retro computers.

The Retro Commodore website is a unique digital archive dedicated to preserving retro computer culture. With its professional collection and community support options, it is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the world of Commodore, Amiga, and other classic computers.
