Rise of Babylon (2026, Windigo Productions)

A new strategy game that builds on the foundations of classic city-building and economic strategy games (such as Hammurabi or early SimCity), but offers more complex decision-making situations.

In Rise of Babylon, your goal is to achieve the greatest possible population growth in the city of Babylon during your reign.

The story takes place in the heart of Mesopotamia, in the rising city of Babylon. The player takes on the role of the heir to the throne after the unexpected death of his father, the king. The legacy is a promising but fledgling settlement, whose fate is now in our hands. The central task is nothing less than fulfilling the dream of the deceased ruler: we must transform Babylon into the most powerful and influential metropolis in the region.

Windigo Productions is already well known in the C64 scene (with titles such as Deathflood and The Tribe to their name), and Rise of Babylon is no exception to their usual high standards.
