Night Mission Pinball Extended (2024, Extend)

One of the best Commodore 64’s pinball games is 1983’s Night Mission Pinball, which has been given a new and spectacular game version this time.

All the ports of the game look quite awful on other platforms also, I always wished it had some color and more polish on it.

The game originally simulates a modern arcade-style pinball game, which the creators have tried to make as enjoyable as possible given the technical capabilities of the computer.

Night Mission’s theme is a WW II night bombing run. The bomber involved is a B-17 Flying Fortress, and while the Americans flew mostly daylight missions, a few B-17s were piloted by the British RAF who frequently went on night missions. There are USAF wing markings on the plane, however, so you can think of this as a night mission in the Pacific (the USAF frequently flew at night over Japan). Just think of the plane as being a B-29.
