Commodore 64 users have long been familiar with Artillery Duel from 1983, which can be considered one of the foundations of the famous Worms game series. This game received a major update in 2023 from the creators of the WiC64 networking device.
This means that human players living far away from each other – anywhere in the world – can now play this great game online. All you need is a WiC64 device and an Internet connection.
The WiC64 portal contains a special version of the game called “Artillery Duel Deluxe”. A 1-player mode and detailed instructions have been added, and there have also been numerous optimizations to the visuals and game speed.
In addition to the various online features, a simple but functional chat has been added to the game and winning players can even be added to the Online High Score table.
The game also has a nice title screen and a nice background soundtrack.
